The 2013 annual Osher Department International Theology Conference took place Feb. 17-21, 2013. It attracted theologians from dozens of countries. The four-day program comprised lectures, roundtable discussions and small-group study sessions.The 2013 conference theme was, "Forgiveness."
Participation in the International Theology Conference, which is by invitation only, is reserved for distinguished theologians from universities and centers of religious learning around the world.
The conference's one public forum, The Edward Bronfman Family Foundation Annual Lecture on Religious Pluralism, was held on Feb. 19, 2013. It was titled, "From Crisis to Covenant: Rethinking a Narrative for Israel," and featured Yossi Klein Halevi and the Rev. Peter A. Pettit, co-director of the Institute's New Paths: Christians Engaging Israel Project, and was moderated by Dr. Marcie Lenk, also co-director of New Paths.
