A fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute, Noam Zion has an Master of Arts in philosophy from Columbia University.

His numerous publications include: A Different Night: The Family Participation Haggadah, "A Different Light: The Big Book of Hanukkah, A Day Apart: Shabbat at Home, Sipurei Reshit, a Hebrew anthology on contemporary readings of Genesis that he published together with his daughter, and Halaila Hazeh, and A Night to Remember, haggadot that he published together with his son.
Noam contributes extensively to the Institute's website-only series of holiday special reports, including Purim and Pesach.
Noam is also a driving force behind the Institute website's Education Channel, which lists numerous course curricula and other documents specially developed for teachers and school administrators, and all of which are available for free viewing and downloading.
