The Robert P. Kogod Annual Lecture, which is part of the annual Internation Philosophy Conference, is open to the general public. This year's event will be held on June 17, 2013 at 7:30 pm at the Shalom Hartman Institute. Tal Becker will deliver the address: Compromising for Peace: Hard Lessons from the Negotiating Table.
The 27th annual Shalom Hartman Institute International Philosophy Conference will be held June 16-20, 2013 on the theme "Truth, Principle, and Compromise: Can They Coexist?"
The conference takes place every June at Shalom Hartman Institute's Jerusalem campus, and attracts some 40 philosophers from Israel, North America and Europe. Participants in the International Philosophy Conference (by invite only) are distinguished philosophers and political and legal theorists from universities around the world. The program includes lectures, roundtable discussions, and small group learning.
